Help a Child Receive a School Lunch in Thailand

In many countries across the world including Thailand there are children who go for days without a meal. The Thai Square Restaurant chain has joined the Thai Children’s Trust to help bring that to a stop. That’s why we are telling you to the rice bucket challenge! You can donate as much as you like and that donation will help fill a bucket with rice depending on how much you have contributed.

Pad Thai, Thai Green Curry, Duck noodle soup and so many other delicacies must have delighted you when you savoured them at Thai Square Restaurant. Now, London’s favourite Thai cuisine destination, Thai Square, comes forward to help the underfed & under-privileged children in Northeast Thailand. This amazing Rice Bucket Challenge in which Thai Square is shouldering the responsibility of the Thai Children’s Trust in raising £250,000 per year to keep all of the children on their Nutrition Programme fed.

Here is a chance for all of the patrons of Thai Square Restaurant to be good Samaritans by ensuring that these children get the essential nutrition they need, every day. A minimal sum of £3.30 would help you sponsor a wholesome meal for a child for one month.

The challenge has been taken successfully and the Thai Children’s Trust has already sent over £2 million in last eight years to feed orphaned, abandoned, and malnourished children in some of Thailand’s poorest areas.
