This Christmas the talented chefs at Thai Square have taken the different regions of Thailand as inspiration when designing the ‘Four Regions’ party menu. Using seasonal ingredients and traditional recipes, the thirteen branches of Thai Square have been divided into four groups, representing the northern, central, north east and southern regions of Thailand. Dishes highlight ingredients and seasonings from each region, making each restaurant a completely unique experience.
From the north, diners will be served an array of dishes, including Nam Prik Ong, a dish of ground pork, tomato, shrimp and chilli paste. On the central regional menu will be Maa Haaw – sweet and sticky caramelised minced pork topped on segments of fresh pineapple and garnished with a coriander leaf and thinly sliced red chilli, and Steamed Tapioca Dumplings topped with crunchy roasted peanuts, fresh pineapple and chilli. The unofficial dish of Loas is on the northeast menu, a Larb Tord, a classic Thai salad turned into munch meat balls mixed with toasted ground rice and packed full of lime juice and fresh herbs. Finally from the south, is a traditional sweet and sour Pineapple Curry with Juicy Jumbo Prawns.
Also, if you book before 30th November, a complimentary glass of prosecco will be included!
The north menu will be served at Trafalgar Square & Putney Bridge.
The central menu will be served at Minories & Mansion House.
The northeast menu will be served at Covent Garden, Islington, Fulham, Richmond & St. Albans.
The south menu will be served at Windsor, Wig & Pen, Strand & South Kensington.
